Marshall Farms is a family-owned and operated organic dairy farm (for over 40 years) in Orange County Virginia. Using a century old technique of milk from grass-fed cows, Marshall Farms produces a variety of cheeses that have a smooth, creamy texture not found in commercially processed cheese.

"The Garden Patch" brings produce that is picked only on the morning of the market. Jimmy explained to me that the firmness of each vegetable is evident in squash or cucumbers that have been picked off the vine only an hour or two before they are purchased. His days start early... before dawn... he often picks the vegetables using a miners helmet with a flashlight attached to see what he is doing. The freshness ... feel ... of the vegetables is obvious... you cannot find this in any supermarket!
